I have to protect my logo!

Have you ever wondered why some agencies and corporations protect their logos like a pile of gold? 

It's like "try to find that single person who controls the databank > contact this person [if you find the email address] > ask him or her the username and password > then you can download the poor 72 resolution JPG which you try to implement in the print materials > And don't forget to read the 20+ page guideline to it!". 

And in the end, most likely, that one person who is responsible of this all, is on a vacation.
